Bach in the Borough - Concert II

It's BACH-tober again in Stonington. "Bach in the Borough" is a yearly concert weekend hosted by Calvary Church and dedicated to the genius of J.S. Bach. This year's Concert II takes place on Sunday, October 23 at 4PM at St. Mary Church (95 Main St., Stonington). Concert II features CONCORA, one of CT's finest professional choirs and resident choir of the CT Early Music Festival. They will sing the complete Bach motets: 1. "Lobet den Herrn" (Praise the Lord); 2. "Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied" (Sing unto the Lord a new song); 3. "Jesu, meine Freude" (Jesus, my joy); 4. "Der Geist hilft unser Schwachheit auf" (The Spirit gives aid to our weakness); 5. "Fürchte dich nicht" (Do not fear); 6. "Komm, Jesu, komm" (Come, Jesus, come).
