Augmented Reality Workshop

 

This workshop is based on 2 technologies, 1 is touch technology , other is gesture controlling technology which any student of any branch can attend !! It is based on Pranav Mistry's six sense device.We teach the students to make multi touch pad, to convert screen of laptop into touch screen.

 

It is a live, direct or indirect, view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. It is related to a more general concept called mediated reality, in which a view of reality is modified (possibly even diminished rather than augmented) by a computer. As a result, the technology functions by enhancing one’s current perception of reality.

By contrast, virtual reality replaces the real world with a simulated one. Augmentation is conventionally in real-time and in semantic context with environmental elements, such as sports scores on TV during a match. With the help of advanced AR technology (e.g. adding computer vision and object recognition) the information about the surrounding real world of the user becomes interactive and digitally manipulable. Artificial information about the environment and its objects can be overlaid on the real world.

 

 Trainers Profile

• Akshit is an avid six sense researcher with special interest in six sense technology and Web Application security analysis. He has an experience of over 3000 hours of training in the domain of Multi -touch and augmented reality and has trained over 5000 individuals personally till date.
• His student base ranges from IIT’s, NIT’s, Government Colleges, Deemed Universities and other reputed institutes. He has undergone various projects in six sense technology i.e making a multi touch pad, making a wireless mouse, converting a normal laptop screen to a screen that can be operated with the help of a stylus, Kinect XBOX 360 and Nintendo’s gaming console.
• An engineer from Computer Science Department he had developed and designed websites like www.mithrasconsultants.com, www.sensefil.com, www.sensefiltech.blogspot.com, www.ncabta15-dceggn.co.in, www.viereaentertainment.co.nf and many other websites and he is also a tech blogger at SenseFil Technologies. He is an Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert.
• As a hobby, he penetrated various websites and reported vulnerability flaws in them and as an outcome he received various appreciation mails from reputed companies. He got an opportunity to have his photograph on the cover page of “Digit Magazine” and he grabbed it.
