John Comisky is a freelance photographer in Napa, known for his stunning wildlife and landscape photography from around the world. Wildlife entered his life through his association with Napa Wildlife Rescue. His photograph, "Whale 2" in Antarctica, won the Smithsonian Magazine's 18th Annual Photo Contest - Natural World Category, in April 2021.
