Make plans to join the five Chapters of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) from Atlanta, Birmingham, Huntsville, Nashville and Knoxville at the Annual Labor Day Weekend Mid South Regional at the Chattanooga Convention Center on Saturday September 4 and Sunday September 5. The event includes a Mart, an Exhibit and two Lectures. These activities are open to NAWCC Members, and again this year, to the public as well.
The Mart will be conducted in Exhibit Hall B. At the Mart, browsers, collectors and hobbyists can purchase antique and modern clocks, watches and all things horological. The Mart opens to the public on Saturday September 4 at 10AM-4:30 pm and again on Sunday September 5 at 8AM-Noon.

The exhibit, also in Exhibit Hall B, will consist of an extensive and beautiful collection of rare and important clocks. The exhibit is entitled “Early American Clocks with a Connecticut Connection”. Very rare examples of the first clocks made with interchangeable parts, which thereby define the Industrial Revolution, will be on display.
Two Lectures will be presented on Saturday in Room 19. At 11 AM, Geoff Parker will present “Luxury or Lie; Identifying and Valuing Luxury Watches” and at 2PM, Mary Jones will present “Radium Girls”. Radium Girls is an account of occupational health risks and their consequences to luminescent dial artists in the 1920s.
Public admission to the Mart is $10. Admission to the exhibit and lectures is free.
