Angel Voices Ever Singing, A concert for choirs, organ, and oboe

St. John's Episcopal Church, Lynchburg, is celebrating the tenth anniversary of their Richard Howell organ, a three manual, 32 stop mechanical action organ. The concert "Angel Voices Ever Singing" will showcase the organ as an instrument for accompanying. St. John's Parish Choir and Cantate Children's and Youth Choir, William Parrish, Jr., oboe, and Peggy Haas Howell, organ, will be conducted by Randall Speer. Works by Romantic and Contemporary English and French composers will be featured, including C. Hubert H. Parry's seldom-performed "Here my words, ye people" and Bob Chilcott's exciting "Angel Voices Ever Singing".
