Join us for a fun and lively event with Andy and Judy, a talented folk duo. This event is free and open to the public.
Andy and Judy will play guitars, mandolin, banjo, ukulele and other instruments. During the concert, they will perform original songs in many different styles, such as traditional folk, roots music, country swing or bluegrass. They invite the audience to participate by singing along, clapping or stomping to their original tunes. Andy and Judy note: "We tell stories through our songs - many of which are based on historical events, times or places. Our story songs have been described as positive and uplifting. The characters and themes are very relatable to personal experiences that many of the audience members have had. Often, one of our songs will open the door to a discussion on a historical topic."
Andy and Judy are Contemporary Folk singer/songwriters hailing from Southeastern Massachusetts. This married couple began playing guitars, mandolin, banjo, ukulele and other instruments together in 2009. They have performed on folk coffeehouse stages, in libraries, festivals and house concerts in 27 states since they started touring in 2016. They strive to write songs that are carefully crafted and performed so that the listener experiences all of the emotions and experiences woven into the music.
This prolific duo has released seven original albums; Riverbend (Nov. 2012), Dragonfly (May 2014), Follow Your Dream (May 2015), This Old Town (June 2017), Reflections (Sept. 2018), This Road (Sept. 2020) and Let Us Sing (June 2021).
