Amphibian Presents: Nature and Purpose Day Retreat at Taft Gardens

This one-day workshop in the beautiful Taft Gardens of Ojai, CA is a unique adaptation of multi-day programs we've conducted many times as well as other workshops we've led for individuals and corporate retreats. Through guided introspective activities done together in a group as well as in solo walks on the land amongst the trees and garden, we will introduce exercises designed to tap into your intuition, uncover your core values, and align your actions with what you long for most in your career and this life.

For those wishing to continue after this introductory workshop, we will also offer 1:1 mentoring / advising sessions, weekend programs in the LA and SF areas, and week-long programs in some of the most incredibly biodiverse places around the world. All of these are designed to connect you with nature, have fun in the great outdoors, and align with your deepest purpose and identify inspiring opportunities to help solve some of the biggest problems facing our planet.

Brian Stafford, M.D., M.P.H.: Brian is a guide to the wilderness of nature, wildness, and soul. Called out of academic medicine to serve as a guide to the depths and to serve as an agent of cultural awakening and transformation, he guides with humor, playfulness, fierceness, compassion, discernment, and a deep remembering of the fullness of what each human life can, should, and was meant to be. A former holder of an endowed chair and professor of psychiatry and pediatrics, he is currently a guide, Board Member, and Training Director at the Animas Valley Institute. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Evan Rapoport: Evan is a nature lover, product manager, and mentor who creates conservation moonshots inspired by his adventures into the wilderness. He's launched such initiatives at Google Research (AI for biodiversity), Google[x] (founded Tidal), Oceankind (founding CEO of philanthropic org, funding ocean-focused startups and nonprofits), Street View (coral reefs, national parks), Conservation Int'l, and community conservation in Kenya. He loves that nature helps him see the world with childlike wonder.
