Amarillo Area Veterans Virtual Legal Clinic

Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas will hold a free virtual civil legal clinic for veterans in its Amarillo service area on Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 5-7 PM. Individuals may speak to an attorney by phone or over the Internet via Zoom. Space for the event is limited.

Interested veterans should call Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas no later than 2 PM, November 11, by calling (806) 373-6808 ext. 6503. Please leave a message with your name, phone number, the best time to call you, and a brief description of your legal issue. Applicants will be contacted to screen for financial eligibility and to set an appointment to speak to an attorney. Legal issues we can help with include eviction, unemployment benefits, foreclosure prevention, Medicare/Medicaid benefits, veterans benefits, expunctions/nondisclosures, bankruptcy, family law matters, and driver license restoration.
