Alto Artists Tour, an annual art event in the cool pines of New Mexico, with 24 artists this year.

Every year for the last 17, the first weekend in August bring artists, art lovers and collectors to visit the Alto area. Our artists welcome visitors into their homes or studios during this 3 day tour. The tour draws collectors and friends back year after year and each year we welcome new enthusiasts. Spread over the entire Alto New Mexico area and a little beyond, you'll drive from home to home, following the map, hand drawn by our own Lay Powell. This year's tour will showcase 25 artists at 13 area homes. Enjoy and relax in the cool pines, with their scenic views and wild life as you drive the area in search of perfect gifts for those you love and yourself. Each year collectors schedule vacations around this wonderful event while hunting for their favorite artists and those new to our tour.
