ALC Concert Series: John Zimmerman, Organist

Celebrating the king of instruments with a wide variety of music for organ spanning four centuries, come hear the beauty and power of the fine instrument at Anchorage Lutheran which celebrates its 45th anniversary this year. 
Anchorage Organist John Zimmerman will explore music from the 17th and 18th centuries from Bruhns and Bach, the 19th century from Boellmann and Guilmant and 20th century music from Willan and Karg-Elert, and music from two living composers Gardonyi and Biery. There is a little something for everyone in this concert which will showcase the majestic pipe organ and provide an opportunity to participate in the performance.
