Alaska Zoo Animal Feeding Experiences

These 30-minute sessions involve going behind-the-scenes with a trained guide to feed an animal at the Alaska Zoo. This is a great time to ask questions, appreciate these amazing animals up-close and take pictures. You can ride to the zoo on our free shuttle if you reserve a seat online in advance. The feeding experiences are timed with the shuttle arrivals. The shuttle arrives at the zoo at the top of the hour, giving you time to pay for a feeding experience and zoo entry. Feeding experiences will be held daily from May 27th through September 1st, 2024. Feedings will occur at 10:15am (caribou), 12:15pm (camel/muskox) and 2:15pm (black bear). Species are subject to change based on their needs. Price is $30 per person plus zoo admissions fees for ages 3 and up. Ages 2 and under are free. No advance reservations, just pay at the zoo entrance on the day you wish to do your feeding experience.
