The coronavirus crisis has created a situation without precedent, in our lifetime and the way of doing business has changed, possibly forever.

A global first, the 2020 Africa Shared Value Leadership virtual summit (eSummit) provides an interactive platform for business leaders and practitioners to deliberate and explore how business can to come together and create the Shared Value ecosystems that will help the African continent recover from pandemic-induced economic hardship and upheaval.

The Africa Shared Value Leadership eSummit aims to advocate and extend awareness of the Shared Value business model – profit with purpose – beyond borders and across the African continent.

This year, we take Africa’s Shared Value conversation mainstream through 20 interactive webinars. The online sessions will be live streamed during the Shared Value Week from 10am to 3pm on Tuesday, 2 June through to Friday, 5 June.

Guided by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, the conversation at the 2020 eSummit will centre on Creating Shared Value as the new business norm in a post-Covid19 world. Specifically, business leaders will discuss how by focusing on “profit with purpose”, organisations can contribute to reducing inequality and building economic prosperity for all.
