Finally, AFour Technologies is back with its much-awaited AFourathon 2.0 Hackathon 2023 

It is time now to reimagine a more sustainable society for future generations by leveraging emerging and cutting-edge technology, Are you Ready? 

AFourathon Hackathon aims to push squads of hackers beyond their abilities to develop top innovative answers to real-world problems that are in demand. Open to individuals with 2 to 6+ Years of experience, Engineering Students, Graduates, Startups, and Coding Enthusiasts from around the world.  

The competition will require participants to think outside of the box, leave their comfort zones, idealize and implement solutions that can bring about real change and development. Our ultimate goal of this hackathon is to expand diversity in tech by sparking the drive to innovate among all our participants.

Theme – Develop and Deploy Micro Apps 

 

A. Weekly Status Reporting Project 

Problem Statement 1: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for creating/ updating/ deleting a project  

Problem Statement 2: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for creating/ updating/ deleting status for each project  

Problem Statement 3: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for sending out weekly status emails for each project. 

  

B. Skills Database Project 

Problem Statement 1: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for creating/ updating/ deleting a tech/ business skill  

Problem Statement 2: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for creating/ updating/ deleting skills for a user  

Problem Statement 3: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for viewing list of team members based on skill criteria  

  

C. Daily Status Reporting Project 

Problem Statement 1: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for creating/ updating/ deleting a project  

Problem Statement 2: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for creating/ updating/ deleting a team in the project  

Problem Statement 3: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for creating/ updating/ deleting daily status for each project by a team member  

Problem Statement 4: Build an application that can be run as a container on the cloud for sending out daily status emails for each project 

  

Assessment Criteria: 

• Code maintained on git with commit histories 

• Readme or any other documentation created 

• Follow coding best practices including comments 

• Design: Ensure SOLID/DRY principles are followed, Design patterns are used, Code as per latest syntax using advanced language features, Unit testing implemented in code 

• Completeness: Complete the features? Are all the tests running? 

• Correctness: Does the functionality work as per requirement? 

• Maintainability: Is it written in a clean, maintainable way? 

• Debug: Setup logging, linting and debug capability 

• Hosting: Host as a container application either on cloud or on local machine on Docker/Podman 

  

Deliverables: 

• Solution design and development support guide(AFour to provide the template) 

• Code for the working solution 

• Demonstration of the working solution 

  

Submission: 

• Presentation on the problem statement and solution design and approach 

• Source code of the solution for working solution
