Aesthetics is Zee Group & Zee Learn’s Animation, VFX and Film Making conclave of professionals, students and corporates in the animation, VFX, AI, Film Making and related fields.

The conclave aims at:

• Bringing together industry experts, students and academia in 3D Animation, VFX, Graphic Design, Gaming etc. to discuss latest trends and technologies in the space
• Providing a platform for students for industry level interactions through panel discussions, seminars, mentorship programs and master classes by experts and eminent personalities from the industry
• Providing an opportunity for showcasing skills and awarding best creative talent in the industry

Event Overview:

• Event would take place in MUMBAI from 10th to 12th January 2019
• A 3-day event with sessions by experts, Student short film showcase, Essel World & studio visits, awards ceremony etc.
• Presence of eminent brands (Zee Entities, Google, IBM, Accenture, Microsoft, Unity, Nazara, etc.*), industry professionals and over 200 Animation, VFX, design students

Competition:

We invite all professionals, artists and students to take part in different competitions and submit their entries which will be judged by distinguished jury members.

Competition categories include: 

• Short Films- Live Action
• Short films- 2D Animation, 3D Animation, VFX

Participating in these competitions provide an individual a large platform to display their talent and gain recognition from industry veterans. Winners have a chance to take home a cash prize up to INR 100,000/-.

Entry to the 3-day event is prized at INR 10,000/. Event charges include accommodation (2 nights 3 days), meals, local logistics, all entry passes- studio, awards ceremony, Essel world/ other fun event, DJ Night. Exclusion: travel to and from Mumbai

Competition categories explained:

• Short Films- Live Action (Max Duration 20 Minutes)
• Short films- 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Stop-motion, VFX (Max duration 10 Minutes)

Participants will have to create a short film which will be evaluated on Story, Screenplay, communication design, look and feel, and the technical execution. Following are the film submission details:

• Categories: Live Action, 2D Animation, 3D Animation, VFX, Stop Motion
• Video output: .mov (H264 compression) only
• Frame size: Minimum 720 x 480
• Do not use images / Videos / Sound / logo / trademark for which you don’t have rights to use or the copyright
• Minimum 5 High Resolution (1440X1024 dpi) best stills of the film
• Submission date: Dec 26, 2018
