The 2019 Chili Cookoff is sponsored by Tequesta Fire Rescue and Tequesta Brewing Company.  The event honors our military veterans especially our WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Wounded Veterans and those families who’s loved one’s never returned home.

The day is an action packed, proud, all American tribute to our vets including: live music, pipes and drums, an award ceremony for our honored guests, military fly overs, craft beer and wine, and over 25 teams from public safety, the military and private sector competing for the best chili!  The chili is judged by local celebrity judges including mayors, restaurant owners, and television and sports personalities. There is also a people’s choice award voted on by all the attendees.

Last year over $52,000 was raised.  All proceeds of this event are distributed to:
Honor Flight South Florida – Helping every single veteran in America, willing and able of getting on plane and a bus, visit their memorial in Washington D.C. www.honorflightsouthflorida.org

Operation 300 – Provides mentorship to children of the fallen, honoring the sacrifice of those who’ve given their all for our freedom, and promoting patriotism and service in our communities.
