The Mt. Shasta Area Audubon Society is sponsoring the 7th annual Community Weed Pull in Mt. Shasta on Saturday, April 30th. We are looking for volunteers to help us remove invasive Scotch broom and other weeds, to help restore our native environment. This is a good opportunity to meet your neighbors, and get in a good morning workout removing invasive and fire-prone plants. Meet at the Upper Lodge in Mt. Shasta City Park at 9 am on Saturday, April 30th. Bring work gloves, and loppers or hand pruners, if you have them. For further info, email [email protected].
