6th Conference on Cereal Biotechnology and Breeding

The 1st Conference on Cereal Biotechnology and Breeding (CBB) took place in 2011 - since that time the Conference series was successfully continued in two years intervalls. In November 2021 we will organise the 6th CBB Conference (CBB6) which will be held in the wonderful historical city of Budapest. The event will be jointly organised with the Cereals Section of EUCARPIA - the European Association for Research on Plant Breeding Research. EUCARPIA aims to promote scientific and technical co-operation in the field of plant breeding in order to foster its further development.

For the first time in the history of the Cereal Biotechnology and Breeding conferences the meeting will be hold fully online. Given that, the epidemiological situation may change a lot in the short term, we consider it safer to hold the conference online.

Conference topics

Authors are invited to submit their contributions from the following fields:

• Natural Diversity for Genetic Improvement
• Environmental Adaptation
• Biotic Stress Response
• Quality for Food and Industrial Use
• Bioinformatics and Genomic Selection
• Genomic and Genetic Manipulation
• Phenotyping Technologies
• Future Challenges and Innovations

Submission deadline is 15 September 2021.

You do not need to pay the registration fee for CBB 6 to submit your abstract however if you are the presenting author, and your abstract is accepted you are kindly expected to do so before 15 October. Each applicant may and can submit maximum one oral and one poster abstract. Authors are advised that abstracts will only be included in the final program when the registration documents and payments in full have been received for at least one of the authors.
