In 2013, the Chinese Government initiated the concept of the “Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road”, known as One Belt and One Road, and now known as the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ (BRI).
The BRI has far-reaching implications for trade, transport infrastructure, requirement of new transport policy framework, digitalization and logistics in the Central Asian region. Sustainability and the way forward needs to be analyzed with many research and development aspects.
Inha University in Tashkent in association with the Ocean College, Zhejiang University and Jungseok Research Institute of International Logistics and Trade (JRI) pleased to host the 6th Belt and Road Initiative Conference: Logistics and Other Economic Challenges in the Post-Pandemic Era.
