Join us for the rescheduled 6th annual STEM Journey program organized by the Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society, the Cape & Islands Council of the Boy Scouts of America, PID Analyzers, LLC and Sandwich STEM Academy hosted by Sandwich High School. The theme of this 6th edition STEM education public outreach event is The International Space Station and Beyond. There will be a keynote lecture in the auditorium given by NASA scientists from NASA's Kennedy Space Center titled: International Space Station Research and the Gateway Lunar Orbiting Platform from 4pm-5pm. Hands-on STEM-related activity providers will be stationed throughout the first-floor corridors at Sandwich High School from 3pm-4pm and 5pm-6pm-These exhibits will be closed during the NASA Lecture. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase snacks and lunch at onsite food trucks. This event is free but pre-register to skip the long registration line. Another exciting STEM event precedes STEM Journey: The MATE ROV New England Competition will also be hosted by Sandwich High School on Saturday, May 4, 2019-Come to STEM Journey early and catch some of the MATE ROV Competition-More information about this part of the event will be posted to STEM Journey social media channels.
