6th Annual Empowerment Experience: The GIRL BOSS Project!!

The Power of You Teens (POYT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit mentoring and empowerment organization created to inspire teenage girls to dream big and encourage them to reach their full potential.  

POYT is gearing up for The 6th Annual Empowerment Experience: The GIRL BOSS Project on November 3. The Empowerment Experience, for girls between the ages of 11 and 18, is designed to inform, instill and inspire teens to think creatively and believe there is no limit to what they can achieve  

The Empowerment Experience creates a safe, fun and inspirational environment that ignites the spark for girls to be Brave, Bold and Brilliant.  

Over 400 teens and their families will have the opportunity to meet positive role models and dynamic mentors of excellence, discuss teen issues, explore college and career possibilities and learn of life changing leadership programs available to them in their communities.   

The full day event will also include Girl Boss change makers, entrepreneurs and speakers from entertainment, finance, tech, health and wellness industries, exciting live performances by dance teams and vocalists, educational and exciting panels, an art gallery and a designer fashion show that will feature teen models of all shapes and sizes.
