65th International Red Cross Ball

The Ball has a long-standing tradition of elegance, excellence and prestige, but most importantly, it celebrates the lifesaving mission of the American Red Cross. The Ball will include the signature receiving line with our honored guests, international ambassadors, and a processional featuring the brave men and women of the U.S. Marines.

This historic event raises critical funds to enable the Red Cross to respond to emergencies and disasters, prevent and alleviate human suffering, and spread hope to families during their darkest days.

- On average, 90 cents of every dollar the Red Cross spends is invested in delivering care and comfort to those in need.

- There is no other non-governmental organization that can support military heroes on a comparable scale, with Red Cross staff embedded on 45 military installations overseas and about 230 Red Cross chapters providing support stateside, to more than 240,000 military members and their families.

- Last year, the American Red Cross responded to 27 billion-dollar disasters, the country's second-highest number of billion-dollar disasters ever recorded. This year could be another record-breaking year.
