This year’s Conference theme is the ability of ADR to adapt to today’s challenges. More specifically, the 1st conference day, May the 19th, will highlight the critical developments arising in the field of mediation. The 2nd conference day, May the 20th, will focus on “the adaptability of international arbitration to the contemporary challenges” and especially the adaptability of: institutional rules and arbitration practice, national legislations, Judiciary and Arbitrators. Conference will be held in memory of Emanuel Gaillard. The Conference is addressed to members of the academic community, judges and lawyers who are active in ADR and is expected to draw an attendance of more than 250. For this year – and mindful of the pandemic, the 2-day conference will be held via a virtual conference platform. This means that both speakers and the audience/participants of the conference will connect remotely. For all presentations/speeches there will be a simultaneous interpretation – EN to GR or GR to EN, depending on the speaker.
