The 3rd Estate Bringing together the raw energy of improvisation with the versatility and lyricism of UK Hip Hop / MC culture Live and sonically direct. Both artist coming together to deliver a 5 hour celebrate of 50 years of Hip Hop and beyond, deep in the lounge, free entry at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden.

THE 3RD ESTATE (LIVE) - Band on stage around 9pm performing 2 live sets

The 3rd Estate is the exciting project from Manchester based musician and songwriter Dan '3Digits' Berry. With a upbringing firmly in the UK Jazz tradition and a career performing and recording with Mr Jukes, Bombay Bicycle Club, Slugabed, Speech Debelle and many more... 3Digits has been plotting a collaboration between MCs, vocalists and jazz musicians for some time.

In 2019 3rd Estate recorded their debut 'Heart is Beating EP' at Octagon Studios in Brixton and opened for Stones Throw Records alumni Homeboy Sandman and Edan at London's Jazz Cafe. Their debut release was released early 2020 via Submit Records.

Bringing together the raw energy of improvisation with the versatility and lyricism of UK Hip Hop / MC culture 3rd Estate deliver a unique live experience. Expect music and lyrics that hit your soul and grooves with a body-moving and unmistakably homegrown UK sound.

Smashing it since 91, South London Soul Train host and CLF, CLF Art Cafe (Bussey Building), CLF Art Lounge and Rye Wax Founder JAZZHEADCHRONIC is Renowned for his positively aggressive and highly charged eclectic good time sets of soul, funk, groove, motown, disco, latin and or future sets of broken to afro beat, jungle to drum and bass, hip hop and beyond - One thing's for sure, whenever or wherever Jazzheadchronic Mickey Smith plays, the dance floor blows up and the crowd always, but always feel it.
