Okinawa, Japan - Join us for a momentous occasion as the SAJ Okinawa Council celebrates its 70th Anniversary during the 26th Bi-Annual Friendship Jamborette from December 6-8, 2024, at the Peace Memorial Park. This year's event commemorates the enduring friendship between the Scout Association of Japan (SAJ) and the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) over the past 52 years.
With the theme "Lasting Friendship and Peace," the Jamborette promises to be an unforgettable experience for Scouts of all ages. Participants will engage in a variety of Scouting activities, including an exciting Tug of War festival that recreates the annual tug of war traditionally held in Naha.
This event will also be recognized as a Messenger of Peace event, providing Scouts at all levels the opportunity to participate in a special project that will allow them to earn an award to wear on their Class A uniform.
**Event Details:**
- **Cub Scouts** will join us for activities on December 7th only.
- **Scouts BSA and Venturers** will have the opportunity to camp from December 6th to 8th.
We invite all Scouts, families, and community members to come together and celebrate friendship, peace, and the spirit of Scouting.
