2021 Salem Camp Meeting

We will hear different pastors each night, 10 minutes of congregational music with our local Benton song leader, 20 minutes of special music and 30 minutes of preaching as the Spirit leads us! We have a professional accompanist on piano for congregational singing and the Salem UMC Praise Band with electronic instruments, listening intently to the attendees to make sure the music is not too loud!! Pews with cushions are provided for seating, fans above help to keep the air circulated under The Arbor. This specific Camp Meeting has been held in this location in Saline County, Arkansas for 152 consecutive years as of 2019. Last year, 2020, Camp Meeting was not held due to Covid-19. We welcome all ages and provide an air-conditioned nursery and bathrooms close to The Arbor. The floor of The Arbor was updated a number of years ago, as information provided, from the original sawdust floor to smooth, poured concrete, easily accessible by wheelchair and others utilizing walking aids. Cold bottled water and light, pre-packaged refreshments will be offered as well.
