159th (virtual) Scottish Burns Supper

Virtually join the Saint Andrew's Society of San Francisco to celebrate Scotland's National Bard, Robbie Burns, and our 159th annual Burns Supper's Scottish heritage. This year we will be celebrating slightly differently in a virtual setting bringing traditional haggis with a four-course meal and a dram or two of whisky directly to your door. The evening will be filled with poetry, music, dance, and song to acknowledge Robert Burns's impact on Scottish cultural arts while honouring the Scottish women of our contemporary literary arts.

This year we will have our featured artist, Gerda Stevenson. Gerda is an award-winning writer, actor (trained at R.A.D.A.), director, singer-songwriter, theatre, television, radio, film, and opera, throughout Britain and abroad. Her poetry, drama and prose have been widely published, staged, and broadcast. She has written extensively for BBC Radio 4 - original plays, and dramatisations of classic Scottish novels.

Local Guests in San Francisco will have the option of a four-course par-cooked meal delivered to your door to be eaten during the event. Created by Chef Derrik Soares of Popups Unlimited this meal will give you a taste of Scotland, freshly made just for you. Note: All Meals are Currently Sold Out. Virtual Tickets are still available.

The distillers of GlenDronach have also made sure you're not missing a dram by sponsoring every guest with two post-dinner whisky and cheese pairings of their 12 and 18 aged whiskies. Rory Glasgow will offer a short tasting notes session during the after-party. Each meal will come with two 50ml tastings and cheese included with your delivery.

Those who wish to add to the party will have the choice of the Isle of Arran's Burns Single Malt will also be on offer to those who want to keep the party going You must be 21+. Single Meal Tickets are available while stocks last.  (Currently SOLD OUT, Virtual Only Tickets are still available.)

Highland dress or formal attire encouraged but only if you want to show your colors during the after-party.
