Here's a little more on our opening night line up...

KAREN BAYLEY
Karen Bayley is a Midlands based act hailing from Birmingham and has been on the circuit for over a decade. She made a name for herself early on in her career reaching the semi-final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards and was later crowned the winner of the 2001 Komedia New Act prize. Karen was the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award as well as reaching the finals of both the BBC New Comedy Awards Showcase and Babycham Funny Women. Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence, combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle and some devastating one-liners make her a comedic force to be reckoned with. Warm and welcoming with a hilarious spiky edge, her bold, no nonsense attitude strikes a perfect pitch with men and women alike. Karen supported Joe Lycett on his 2016 tour.

JO ENRIGHT
"One of Britain's best character actresses." The Independent (Grace Dent)

"Jo Enright is one of the most naturally gifted comic talents I've ever seen. I'd put her in the same league as Julie Walters." Peter Kay

"A great comedienne." Jack Dee

For more than a decade Jo Enright has worked with many of the UK's leading comedy writers and directors. Appearing alongside Peter Kay in Phoenix Nights, with Steve Coogan in I'm Alan Partridge and playing the female lead Sue, in Life's Too Short, directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. She received rave reviews for the part of Angela in three series of ITV's The Job Lot and has recently appeared in Guz Khan's breakthrough comedy Man like Mobeen.

Alongside acting Jo is also a highly acclaimed stand up comedienne. She has appeared on many TV shows and toured all over the world performing her stand up. Jo has been Comedian of the year at the Leicester Comedy Festival, won the Chortle Award for 'The Best Female Circuit Comic' and the 'Best Female on the Jongleurs Comedy Circuit' award.

VINCE ATTA
It's fair to say that everything Vince Atta touches turns to gold. His high-octane performances, stunning delivery and flawless array of impressions leave you short of breath. With a broad, wonderful spectrum of material ranging from students, Spanish horses in a kitchen, psychotic London ex-girlfriends, pointless racial pride and the advantages of an alcoholic mother, Atta brings an inspiring touch of pathos which demonstrates an unerring ability to turn experience into bullet proof comedy.

His festival shows 'Atta, Bowman and Hoo' (2005) and "Atta, Bowman and Hoo 2" (2006) were both among the most successful shows in their respective Manchester Comedy Festivals. Both included Vince's hour-long headline performance. They were referred to by ManchesterComedy.com as "a blinder in terms of every aspect of making a successful festival show."

In October 2006 Vince won the much-coveted 'City Life Comedian Of The Year' Award.

DAVE LONGLEY
Dave Longley is a difficult comedian to define; on the one hand, abrasive, crude and insulting and on the other, articulate, intelligent and disarmingly funny.

Longley's towering stage presence and intensity, combined with his cutting wit have made him one of the most popular and controversial circuit comics in the UK, whether it's doling out thought-provoking insights or revelling in toilet humour, Longley is a gifted wordsmith with great audience interaction skills.

David has a humble silliness which ingratiates him to audiences, he delivers deadpan accounts of his everyday life which are shockingly honest, well considered and divinely funny, maintaining a rapport with the audience that is at once edgy and accessible, engaging the whole room.

Longley is a regular headline act at comedy clubs all over the country and is also in demand as an MC. As well as being a great addition to any club line up, David had also written and performed five full length festival solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, each one greeted with critical acclaim. These shows have demonstrated his style of mixing everyday trials and tribulations with philosophical ideas which work beautifully together to create an enjoyable hour; an hour those audiences rarely forget.

He has a skilful eye for the nuance in dialogue and incident, which transfers from his stage act to his screen writing with delightful results. He writes across a variety of genres such as 8 Out of 10 Cats for Channel 4 and is currently working on sitcom, drama and documentary script ideas.
