Do you miss meeting new people whilst travelling? Or do you wish you could work out just exactly what people are thinking in our post-Brexit, post-(almost) Pandemic world?

Join us at the first VirtEUal European Exchange, run by The Holiday in a Box Co. You'll be matched with a mystery person just like you, from elsewhere on the European continent. With our secure meeting rooms, you'll then get to say hello and chat about anything you like. We'll provide plenty of conversation prompts and ideas, and you can even practice your languages (if you wish!)

The VirtEUal European Exchange is run by The Holiday in a Box Co: the travel company helping you to holiday from home.

Nature of the event: This is a cultural exchange event, where you will have the opportunity to chat with other people just like yourself. Think of it as pulling up in a cafe abroad, and getting to know the locals. Conversation prompts will be provided to keep conversation flowing. You will be matched with someone who is comfortable speaking the same language(s) as you.

How it works: Links will have been sent to all registered attendees in advance. You will then go into private "meeting rooms" with your Mystery Match for a 25-min chat. Don't worry, we'll handle all the tech! After the 25 mins, you'll rejoin the group and you can either call it a day or stay to be re-matched with someone else.

Times: Event begins at 6:30pm BST (7:30 CET) on Zoom with a welcome from the founder of The Holiday in a Box Co. 

Prices: There is a £5 registration fee per group. This can be redeemed against a Holiday in a Box, using the code that will be sent to you upon registration.
