About Saint Mary Church
In the early 1900s, nearly 1,000 Syrians settled in the Blackstone Valley seeking to better themselves like many immigrants of that era. Some of those settlers founded what is today Saint Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church in 1910. Saint Mary’s reflects third and fourth-generation descendants of those founding families, and increasing diversity due to marriage and a changing population. All are welcome.
