Watercolor exhibit by Karl Becker

First Friday reception (Aug. 2, 5-7 pm) for Karl Becker Watercolors, Recent Works: Birds, Mountains, Mines, Glaciers. Exhibit remains on display through Sept. 28.

Cordova artist Karl Becker is a 2019 Rasmuson Individual Artist awardee. His watercolors capture the character of Alaskan landscapes, architecture and birds. He calls them "visual souvenirs" of his experiences. This 2019 exhibit includes birds of the Copper River Delta, views of Kennecott and the copper mines, and glaciers of Prince William Sound. The show runs from Aug. 2 to September 28.
