Altamaha River Run Canoe and Kayak Excursion

An 11 or 16-mile family paddle with experienced guides on pristine section of the Altamaha River Water Trail. The Paddle will begin at Upper County Landing in Wayne County at 8:30 am..  The 11-mile paddle will conclude at Oglethorpe (Pig Farm) Landing.  The 16-mile will conclude at Jaycee Landing. The 16-mile paddle will break for lunch at the Pig Farm stop.  The 5 mile option is by request for beginners or those wanting a quick paddle.  The 5 mile begins at Oglethorpe (Pig Farm) Landing and ends at Jaycee Landing.  

Meet at Upper County Landing at 7:30 am to drop off canoes/kayaks and then move vehicles to the take out points at Pig Farm Landing or at Jaycee Landing. Shuttles will leave Jaycee Landing to take paddlers back to the put in point at Upper County at 8:00 am. Individuals renting equipment need to be at Jaycee Landing no later than 7:45 am or at Pig Farm Landing no later than 8:00. The excursion will begin at 8:30 a.m. from Upper County Landing.

Outfitter will be on site to deliver and pick up all rental canoes and equipment.
