Exploding Math Lab with Sean and Her Dilemma, and Energy Tank

Exploding Math Lab started in 2014, when Will Copeland and Steve Guilliams, who had played together previously, met Ben Schachtman at the restaurant they all worked at. They started jamming, writing "If In God We Trust," the first time they played together - a song that appears on their debut EP. Shortly afterward, a long-running joke spawned the band's name. Despite their best efforts, they couldn't come up with a better name and, in time, the name began to resonate with certain appropriateness.
