Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire presents British Blast! - A Tribute to British Rock 'n Roll! - a special concert on Sat. May 4, 2019 at 8pm at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire’s one-to-one youth mentoring program.  Last year's Tom Petty Tribute Concert filled the theater and raised $20,000!  It was such a huge success BBBSNH has organized another great concert to raise money for their Littles.

On stage will be live music performances from Good Will Harding, The Wildflowers, and The Masterstroke Queen Experience, playing the music of Queen, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and more!  The lead singer of MQE is so good that he made it to the final round of auditions in L.A. to tour with QUEEN for the 2011 Queen Extravaganza Tour!

Outside The Music Hall, Competition Motors of Portsmouth will be lining Chestnut Street with antique British cars. The Gibson Foundation donated a 2018 Gibson SG Standard in Ebony (MSRP $2,329) that will be auctioned off at the event, and John Ayer, band member of The Wildflowers and owner of Screamer Custom Guitars, built and donated a 2019 Heavy Relic Screamer Custom Guitars "Rocker" model (MSRP $1,000), to be raffled off at the show.  The Portsmouth Community has really come together for this event, with 25 sponsors donating to the cause and Row 34 of 5 Portwalk Place in Portsmouth hosting the AFTER PARTY!

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, 1 to 1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. The single most important factor in determining whether or not children reach their potential is the existence of a caring adult in their lives. These mentoring relationships provide hope and opportunity to children who need it most.  This evening will be an unforgettable night of music to raise money for a great cause!
