Message to Millennials, Generation X people, and Baby Boomers: yes you can re-experience some of your best Christmas memories, by attending the A Gracious Christmas event in Savannah, Georgia! Also at the same time, you can experience the joy of giving hope to local children in need.
This year’s funds will be donated to Savannah Court Appointed Child Advocate (CASA) to train volunteers that will specifically serve youth who have experienced abuse and neglect and are also involved with the juvenile justice system. CASA helps kids find permanent homes - What better Christmas gift is there?
A Gracious Christmas is the largest annual fundraiser by the women of First Presbyterian Church in Savannah, GA. They will temporarily sweep you into an old-fashioned Christmas adventure including a fine semi-formal Christmas luncheon, three speaker sessions featuring:
Christmas memories by author and Savannah Morning News columnist Polly Stramm,
Creating a memorable “tablescape” by designer HRH The Duchess of State Alexandra Trujillo de Taylor, and
Learning container gardening for the holidays from Darcy O’Connor, owner, Darcy’s Gardens in Savannah
The event rounds out with a silent auction and a marketplace of homemade gifts, centerpieces, wreaths, and sweets. These are southern comforts at their best!
