The workshop is designed for students, young scholars and independent researchers with a particular interest related to gender studies. The workshop will allow them to deepen theoretical and methodological knowledge and critical thinking in gender studies.
The workshop will be divided into two sessions:
9:00-11:00 Session 1: “Women as Other: Exclusion and Non-Belonging” will deal with otherness / madness / entrapment / female affiliation and related issues in the framework of feminism
11:00-13:00 Session 2: “A Transgender Experience” will deal with trans history, with the theoretical debates at the meeting point of feminist scholarship, queer theory and trans studies.
All the participants who will attend the workshop will receive certificates.
