Challenge conventional ideas of boundaries on this creative photography course for students and adults, led by professional photographers Diego Ferrari and Andy Day.
Taking inspiration from our vast photography collections and through playful interventions with a professional dancer and parkour athlete in 66 Portland Place, you'll hone your photography practice and explore the dynamic relationship between photography, the human body and architectural space.
This course will provide a creative arena for exploring personal, intellectual and emotional responses to architecture through photography. Working individually and in groups, you'll develop mini photographic projects that enhance your technical skills as photographers, and we'll introduce you to a range of concepts and approaches for constructing visual narratives.
This workshop is led by Diego Ferrari, co-programmer of the annual Urban Encounters symposium at Tate Britain and holder of academic positions at Elisava (Barcelona), Central Saint Martins and Kingston University, and Andy Day, British photographer, writer and urbanist currently living in Paris.
Photographers of all levels are welcome. Tickets from £70.
Time: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
