Pick up a camera and explore one of London's largest re-development zones on our latest architectural photo walk of the Kings Cross and St Pancras area.
Previously an industrial area defined by its rail landscape and dissected by the Regent's Canal, the area has now been re-imagined as a new urban quarter with many of its historic buildings conserved.
You will begin the day by exploring important reference points within the unrivalled RIBA Collections, including books and articles that assess and review recent developments in locations such as Gasholder Park, Coal Drops Yard and Granary Square.
Next you will travel to Kings Cross for a guided walking tour and use the London Festival of Architecture theme of ‘boundaries' to inspire ways of photographing regeneration. Led by an experienced photographer, you will be challenged to translate your ideas into a series of lasting images before returning to RIBA to discuss and review your work.
