Country n' Western Leap Year Party

We are planning a real crackerjack of a night leading up to Leap Year Day!

Join us for two sets of country and western classics, plus vinyl DJ sets from Crispy and Steelman on both sides. We will get a slightly later start and drive the sounds through midnight until close.

Dust off your boots and hats as there will be prizes for best cowboy/cowgirl fancy dress. Free entry so hope to see you as it is always quite a time at one of the hands favorite waterin' holes.

East Lonesome Drifters are a five-piece outfit that pay homage to traditional honky-tonk, Bakersfield sound, western swing and country.

Hailing from Pittsburgh USA, singer Crispy Cowboy gives authentic voice to the stories behind the songs - classics from the likes of Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Bob Wills, Gram Parsons, Buck Owens, Bob Dylan, Steve Earleand many others.

With three part harmonies, acoustic guitar, pedal/lap steel, Telecaster, bass and washboard percussion (with the occasional dobro, piano and harmonica thrown in), it has been said that East Lonesome Drifters lay claim to being the most authentic honky tonk barroom band in the UK.
