Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Bugbrooke, Northants October 2021

Funhouse Comedy returns to Bugbrooke St Michael's FC on Saturday October 2nd for a laughter packed night.

Topping the bill is comedian, actor, writer, BBC Radio presenter and juggler Steve Royle, who came 3rd in the final of Britain’s Got Talent 2020 and previously performed as a warm-up act on the Royal Variety performance. He spent many years as the court jester at Camelot theme park and has supported Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour. His TV appearances include ’Phoenix Nights’, ‘Live at the Palladium’ and ‘Max & Paddy’. Entertaining one and all with his high energy and distinctive talents, there’s something for everybody.

Opening the night will be winner of ‘Dave’s Best Joke of The Fringe’ in Edinburgh 2017, the congenial and unassuming Mark Simmons has appeared on ‘Mock The Week’ and has supported Seann Walsh and Rob Beckett on tour. With his clever one-liners, amusingly intelligent material and cheery disposition he keeps the crowd hanging on to every word.

Completing the line-up is intelligent, fast fire Rob Mulholland with his sarcasm and clever annotations. Having performed his debut show at The Edinburgh Festival 2017 and appearing as the character ‘Death’ in Gary Delaney’s comedy panel show ‘Panelbeaters’, he has plenty more tales to tell.

Compere for the night will be the effortlessly appealing Dominic Woodward, his insightful humorous observations and sharp material are conveyed with a somewhat relaxed air.
