Pink Oktoberfest

The campest, most colourful Oktoberfest is moving to London’s Dockland as the organisers of Winter Pride roll out their Pink Oktoberfest LGBTQ+ beer festival for a third year running.
The LGBTQ+ themed Oktoberfest takeover is becoming a must-go part of the gay calendar and will see drag queens in lederhosen conducting lip sync battles, game shows and rave karaoke with dancing on tables, congas, and prizes for best outfits. 
The one day event will be held at a traditional Bavarian beer hall for 1,500 people at a purpose built site 35,000ft all-weather site at Dock X, a new venue on Surrey Quays near Canada Water tube. 
There will be rows and rows of long bench seating and authentic Bavarian blue and white draped canopy ceiling, Erdinger beer on tap and plenty of room for dancing on our huge dance floor, this venue will play host to live music and several top DJs playing club classic anthems. 
There are three very long bars to accommodate thirsty guests, with the addition of a Champagne and Cocktail Bar for those non-beer drinkers, or, for a bit more luxury why not try the VIP and VVIP seated areas, with dedicated, traditionally dressed hosts and hostesses.
Rebecca Paisis, founder of Pink Oktoberfest said:  “This is the third year for Pink Oktoberfest and it’s really becoming one of the go to events for the LGBTQ+ community.  This year we’re excited to be going to this amazing new space at Dock X and we are going to be able to offer an amazing premium night out.
Inside the main marquee it will look like the outside of a 19th century open-plan Bavarian beer hall decked out with wooden floors and walls, and furnished with bench tables to sit and dance on. 
To serve the guests there will be over 40 expert waitresses dressed in traditional Dirndl dresses and waiters in lederhosen.
Every day live entertainment from Oktoberfest style bands as well as modern pop acts and DJs playing classic dance music.
