Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Ashby-de-la-Zouch Mar 2020

Funhouse Comedy is back at the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday March 5th with another great night of laughter. 

Topping the bill is comedian, actor and writer Chris McCausland, who has appeared on 'Live at The Apollo', 'Would I Lie To You', 'Have I Got News For You' and 'EastEnders'. The only blind professional comedian on the circuit he has an exclusive take on life. Good-natured, unruffled and extremely genial his diverse mix of subjects keeps his audiences amused.

Opening the night will be Edinburgh Festival 2017 best newcomer award nominee, writer, voiceover artist and comedian; the immediately likeable Chris Washington, who has appeared on 'Mock The Week'. A former postmen he uses his Northern charm along with his hilarious tales to entertain the crowds.

Also appearing is winner of Amused Moose Laugh Off at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe and runner up in The Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2016, George Lewis; who has supported Russell Kane and Tom Allen on tour. This gentle, charming, lover of language and words, a BBC TV Celebrity Mastermind winner, enchants everyone with his perceptive and rebellious hilarity. His geeky confidence keeps them hanging on to every word.

Completing the line-up is Matt Bragg, who likes to see the ridiculous in the mundane.

Compere for the night will be the energetic and animated Spiky Mike.
