Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Blisworth, Northants December 2019

Funhouse Comedy returns to The Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth on Friday December 27th for another great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is the diminutive Andy Askins, who has appeared on BBC1’s The John Bishop Show; his air of vulnerability and innocent child-like qualities mislead the crowd heightening the impact of his killer lines. With his guitar and his wickedly dry sense of humour, he captivates everybody with an eclectic mix of offbeat comical songs and parodies. A talented musician with an appealing voice and cheeky magnetism, he never fails to leave his mark.

Opening the night will be Canadian Sean Collins, who has appeared on ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’. He began comedy in 1990 in Vancouver, Canada, after a career as a child counsellor on the psychiatric unit at a local hospital. With a wealth of stories to tell, from surreal gigs in far-flung outposts of his native Canada and more up-to-date contemplations on his new life settled in Britain, with a young son; he never fails to entertain. In 2012 along with his touring partner, Mike Gunn he completed a 35 date sell out UK tour.

Completing the line-up is the very likeable, down to earth and madcap Lindsey Santoro, recounting tales of her misadventures in life, in her unique side-splitting style. She never fails to leave the crowd in tears of laughter.

Compere for the night will be Jon Pearson. Jon's laid-back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word; his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics.
