Walthamstow Jazz Festival 2020

Walthamstow Jazz Festival, in association with Truman's, returns for a second year on 15 February, reaching across the spectrum to pull together a day of amazing music created and curated for your ears from artists at the cutting edge here in the UK and beyond. Wu-Tang Clan main man U-God will be jetting in from the US to headline with London natives Project Karnak as his live band. This is a one-off, never to be repeated.
 
Joining U-God on the bill are established names in their field like leading Bristol lights Ishmael Ensemble, Laura Jurd, bandleader of 2017 Mercury nominees Dinosaur playing with Polar Bear's Seb Rochford, Free Jazz and improvising pioneer Evan Parker, breakout star of the London scene Binker Golding, Danalogue and Betamax of The Comet Is Coming, combining as Soccer96, and many many more, with Fat White Family closing on the decks being the obvious one there.

The music will be spread across two close together sites near Black Horse Road Tube station, with the main stage in the new Truman's Brewhouse on Priestley Way, with qualoty food and drink on site, including Dalston's Sodas and Perky Blenders' coffee. And we're partnering with Threads Radio to live stream the event!
 
Early Bird Tickets are just £25 each on DICE and will sell out fast, so grab one quickly! And following the path trod by this year's edition, we're still looking to cater for families, so children 8-13 (must be accompanied by an adult) are a fiver.

Expect a day of incredible, mind expanding music in a warm atmosphere.
