Inferno DnB present RONI SIZE - Postponed!

???? COVID-19 UPDATE ????

As we're sure some of you are aware, The Tropicana has announced that all events have been postponed for the time being, so as such this event will no longer be going ahead on this date.

Over the last week we have been working to secure an alternative date later in the year and we will update you all when we have a new date in place.

All tickets purchased for this event will be valid for the rescheduled date and in the event of any ticket holders not being able to attend on the rescheduled date, a full refund will be available through Eventbrite.

Please bear with us while we work to get a new date secured. This is an unprecedented situation across the whole events industry and we thank everyone for their continued support, patience and understanding. The health and safety of everyone is our top priority and it is our responsibility to ensure we do not further the spread of this pandemic.

From what looked like a very uncertain future just a few years ago, Weston-Super-Mare's Tropicana has risen from dereliction to becoming one of the South-West's leading entertainment venues and now in 2020, for the first time ever, will be host to a brand new Drum & Bass event brought to you by the Inferno crew with a very special headliner! A Mercury Prize winning, MOBO Award winning, Music Producers Guild Award winning pioneer of Drum & Bass, head honcho at Full Cycle Records and all round global superstar.. the legendary RONI SIZE.

With heavyweight support from the likes of Emcee Recordings' latest signing BLADE with previous releases on such seminal labels as Goodlooking, Liquid V and Innerground, alongside Ghetto Dub's very own jungle don KICKBACK, Inferno founders and residents SK2 & MAESTRO and XYZ Events very own SKANKY GENERAL, all fully complimented on the mic by head of AFT Records and arguably one of the best MC's in the country CARASEL alongside rising wordsmith talent in the forms of MC's BLUEJAY, BOXY and RYDER.

Inferno Events was established in 2006 and over the years we have hosted many events around the South-West, being the first to bring the likes of Danny Byrd, Sigma and Metrik to Taunton with our residency at The Perfect 5th back in the late noughties and more recently running the D&B stages at Sat In A Field Festival.

We're back with a new venue and a new concept for 2020, bringing legendary pioneering headline DJ's to the South-West while showcasing an incredible array of rising talent alongside. Together with a fully immersive production including top spec lighting and lasers, video screens, fully decorated environment and a massively heavy Funktion One soundsystem, we are ready to set a new standard for events in this area.

Our music policy:

We're not your average Drum & Bass organisation. While many D&B events focus mainly on stacked lineups of DJ's with double the amount of MC's, we like to take a more old skool approach to our lineups. Quality over quantity is definitely key to an Inferno event. We love the full spectrum of styles our great scene has developed and embrace them all in our events, catering for every sub-genre out there under one banner, Drum & Bass.

Our MC policy:

Not knocking any other events, we just recognise there are a lot of Drum & Bass fans out there that don't appreciate 200 word bars being spat every minute but prefer to hear the music with a light smattering of rhymes and crowd hyping complimenting the vibe. So that is why you will only ever find a few carefully chosen MC's on our lineups, hand picked for the style that they bring.

Attitude policy:

We will not accept any forms of bad attitude, aggression, drug use or violence at any of our events, anyone found to be going against this policy will be asked to leave the premises. We have a very fair and professional security team at the venue who will do their utmost to make sure that everyone feels safe in an attitude-free environment
