Are you determined to reduce the impact of your holidays on the planet? If so, join our panel of experts as they discuss the various approaches you can take and answer the question: what does it mean to travel well?

Our panel
Clare Jenkinson is the Senior Destinations and Sustainability Manager at ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents). Clare supports the travel industry on issues spanning the environment, human rights, community impact, animal welfare and accessibility.

Julian Sayarer grew up riding a bicycle into neighbouring counties and then countries. Informed by a background in political science, he uses human stories and the perspective of slow travel to document global issues.

Professor Joe Smith (Chair) is the Director of the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG). Before joining the Society, Joe’s research promoted a better understanding of, and action on, global environmental issues.

More speakers will be announced shortly.
