From portraiture to landscape, architecture to wildlife and fine art to street photography, the world's best imagery from 2018 will be on shown at the 2019 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition. Drawn from 327,000 entries from across the Awards' four competitions - Professional, Open, Youth and Student - the winning and shortlisted images are truly international in scope, celebrating the best in global contemporary photography.
Alongside the successful images from this year's competition, a unique selection of work by Nadav Kander, recipient of the 2019 Outstanding Contribution to Photography award, will be on display. This special curation invites audiences the rare chance to view seven varied bodies of Kander's acclaimed and lesser-known works in one space, including portraiture, figure studies, landscapes and moving image.
Other highlights to the exhibition include an exclusive exhibition of work by recipients of the 2018 Professional and Student Grants, as well as the shortlist and winning imagery of the ZEISS Photography Award 2019. Another highlight not to miss is the carefully curated set of images from The Swap Project, an initiative by World Photography Organisation and creativehub where the global photography community are invited to swap images with one another.
