Machine Learning in Finance: A Quantitative Approach | London, 25 - 26 June

This training course will provide delegates with an in-depth understanding of machine learning applications. This course will be a technical look at machine learning and provide suggestions and strategies for integrating it within your organisation.

The multi-tutor format will provide attendees with an understanding of key theory, models, and more advanced tools in machine learning solutions through a quantitative approach that will also consider portfolio construction, trading, risk management and other business areas.

The first day of the course will begin with a session on machine learning opportunities, limitations, and applications. The second session will cover a variety of machine learning models. The afternoon sessions will look at machine learning for risk management, and in quantitative investment. 

The second day will look at the challenges of predicting the market through a session on machine learning for model validation. The afternoon will provide sessions on portfolio construction, machine learning for trading, and will conclude with a look at the future of machine learning in finance. 

The course will be held under Chatham House Rule with opportunity for discussion within a practical learning environment.
