19th Conference of the International Society of Geriatric Oncology

The SIOG 2019 Annual Conference will combine a one-day SIOG Global Policy Meeting to be held at the UN Venue on Thursday, November 14, 2019 and a two-day SIOG 2019 Scientific Programme at the prestigious International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG) on Friday and Saturday, November 15-16, 2019.

For this edition of our conference, the science of the discussions and meetings will revolve around the theme of integrative oncology - leaving no one behind. The meeting will provide several types of educational lectures including multidisciplinary lectures around specific tumor types discussing concrete cases backed up by solid scientific background. Oral abstract sessions and poster discussions will be designed to follow three major tracks:

- Solid and hematologic malignancies
- Geriatric assessment and supportive care
- Modern diagnostics and therapeutics

SIOG is the front runner in channeling the knowledge and skills of health professionals to help determine the top priorities and actions in clinical settings for advancing the effectiveness of including geriatric protocols in the treatment and care of our older cancer patients. Continuing the success of previous SIOG Annual Conferences, this 19th edition will once again bring together leading experts, professionals and academics from around the world to exchange knowledge, experience, and insights around cancer in ageing across diverse clinical settings and industries. The conference will feature speakers from among the world's leading experts in this field, for advancing the understanding and the practice of this multidisciplinary approach.
