ISPP 2019 - 12th International Symposium on Pedriatic Pain

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate at the 12th International Symposium on Pediatric Pain (ISPP 2019) taking place June 16th - 20th 2019 in a city located in the Middle of Europe - Basel!

Switzerland with its well-known peaceful living across multiple cultures is eager to welcome you from all over the world. Basel is an attractive destination to be reached easily from all over the world including East European countries, the Middle East and Northern Africa, the latter being excellently connected to Geneva airport.

The local committee selected the overarching theme “Children and families as partners in pain relief” as vision for the ISPP 2019. We aim at enriching cutting-edge interprofessional basics and applied science on pediatric pain management. We put our focus on the development of a programme that considers needs of scientist for best evidence without neglecting the most important partners: Suffering children and their families. Prominent speakers will join our plenary sessions addressing key topics of pain in children. Moreover, we really look forward to receiving many contributions for workshops and poster presentations in order to enjoy a rich and outstanding scientific programme.

We strongly believe, that the ISPP 2019 will substantially promote scientific, ethical and public awareness related to pain in children and contribute to scientific knowledge for the best interest of children and their families.
