From Promise to Practice: Equity and Equality of Education--2019 TFCF International Forum on SDG4

Education might be a path to transform lives. On the front line of international aid, children are always encouraged to receive the education which will enhance their human capital and competitiveness; therefore, they would be free from the poverty trap.

Poverty and education are interconnected that both have a significant influence on the future of children. Their importance has been recognized by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF). Accordingly, we execute relevant programs in 7 overseas countries.
 

This November, TFCF is going to host an international forum in the Philippines to examine and elaborate SDG 4 from NGOs' perspectives. Three major topics are included: K-12 Education, Education without Discrimination and Educational innovation. We hope to generate innovative ideas for NGOs focusing on education issues, strengthen the education system as well as develop possible solutions to difficult situation to ensure the sustainability of developmental programs.
